You can’t not do anything, but then your time disappears into a black hole. Since I’ve started prioritising it I’ve been much better at keeping on top of the chores, as well as not feeling shit and at not having done more with writing.

Your calendar and spreadsheet sounds like a great idea. I often feel I’ve accomplished very little but when you really examine it, you spent the time on tasks that were absolutely necessary for the household to keep running properly! Good idea to look back and see where you spent your time so you can appreciate the things you actually have achieved.
