It is done. I have finished and sent the sucker off to the Vogel
. Feel like a million bucks just in achieving this goal.

, Jodi and Mas. You all rule!!!!Your comments and feedback have been invaluable. While my synopsis is still barely passable this gives me a foundation upon which to build on.
Now that my novel is finished I’ll be refining the draft from reader feedback and working on producing a synopsis that doesn’t suck (as much). Cheers

When do you expect to hear back about your submission?

Thanks Sandra, Gabrielle and Pearl.
They will send a confirmation that they’ve received the entry. They will probably notify the five that were short-listed before publication in the newspaper and then the winner will probably announced at some event. Basically only the short-list will be notified, the rest of us will find out when our name isn’t there.

Thanks Renee and Mas. I’m still on a high. Don’t need my normal sleep quota, floating on air, everything is possible and doable. Enjoying this spurt of goodwill while it lasts.
